The Department
Psychotherapy is a systematic procedure that investigates possible mental and/or social causes for disorders and tries to change thinking and behaviour patterns. The Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the EMCO Private Hospital treats patients with psychosomatic and selected neurological disorders. In addition, the department cares for EMCO Hospital patients in other departments (a consulting service). The goal of inpatient treatment at the EMCO Private Hospital is to help patients gradually realize their own health situation and problems and to control symptoms and behavior.
