The Department
Look in the mirror: what do you see? How do you feel? Your skin gives the answer: skin can be sometimes rosy, grey, smooth or stretched. This is why the skin can be seen as a mirror to the soul.
What you do not see: your heart pumps 4,500 litres of blood around your body through your blood vessels every day. That equals about 1.5 million litres in the year – an amount that you could fill a small tanker with. Even small problems can be healed without medication or treatment. Our blood system is a perfect system.
Today, modern diagnostic techniques help us detect early problems with blood flow and blood vessel disorders that can be treated successfully. Our department for conservative angiology deals with the diagnostic and conservative therapy of veins, arterial and lymphatic vessel diseases. The department is equipped with the most modern equipments which provide unparalleled precision, such as a modern color-coded duplex sonography, electronic segmental oscillography, microcirculation test and venous capacity measurement (Light reflex rheography LRR and digital photo plethysmography DPPG).
