Christoph Mauel, MD

Dr. Mauel obtained his medical degree from the Medical
University of Innsbruck in 1990 and completed his residency in internal
medicine at the University Hospital of Innsbruck and Cologne Hospitals
in Germany. He completed hospital stays at the Mayo Clinic Rochester,
USA. Since 1997 he is head of the Department of Internal Medicine
at the EMCO Private Hospital. Dr. Mauel is a member of several medical
societies including the Austrian Society of Internal Medicine, German
Society of Internal Medicine, Austrian Society for Ultrasound in
Medicine, Austrian Society for Geriatrics and Gerontology and Austrian
Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is a certified expert
witness in the field of internal medicine to the court.
Clinical interests include: Non-invasive diagnosis and treatment
of cardiac diseases, gastroenterology and oncology: diagnosis and
therapy and geriatric medicine.
