Peter Lechenauer, MD

Department of Traumatology

Dr. Lechenauer graduated from the Medical University of Vienna and completed his residency in traumatology at Salzburg hospitals. Dr. Lechenauer joined several advanced training programmes in the field of trauma and joint surgery in the USA. He is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and head of the medical teams at SV Wuestenrot Salzburg, Red Bull Salzburg and SV Ried, some of the best Austrian football teams.
Clinical interests include: Trauma surgery, shoulder surgery, knee surgery, hand surgery and arthroscopic and open reconstruction of joints.
