Christian Klein, MD

Department of Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr. Klein obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of Vienna in 1991 and completed his residency in Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery at Salzburg University Hospital and in Traumatology at Braunau General Hospital. He is Board Certified (Facharzt) in Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery and Board Certified (Facharzt) in Traumatology. In addition he obtained the Austrian Certifications in Manuel Therapy and in Neural Therapy. During and after his residency, Dr. Klein completed advanced training programmes in treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors at the University of Bologna and in bone and joint surgery at ENDO Clinic Hamburg in Germany. Since 2005 he serves as board member of the Austrian Foot Society and contributes to international scientific meetings and journals specializing in orthopaedics and foot surgery.
Clinical interests include: foot and ankle surgery, diagnosis and treatment of paediatric orthopaedic disorders, total hip replacement (THR), total knee replacement (TKR), knee arthroscopy (KA) and shoulder surgery.
