Hansjörg Brunner, MD

Department of Traumatology

Dr. Brunner graduated from the Medical University of Vienna in 1988 and completed his residency in Traumatology at Salzburg University Hospital. Dr. Brunner joined several advanced training programmes in the field of trauma and joint surgery in the USA, France, Italy and Switzerland. He was a visitor consultant and instructor of the Berlin Arthroscopy Days (Arthroscopic Stabilisation of Shoulder Dislocations) in 1997 and 1998. He is also a member of the medical team of SV Wuestenrot Salzburg, one of the best Austrian football teams.

Clinical interests include: Trauma surgery, shoulder surgery, knee surgery, hand surgery and arthroscopic and open reconstruction of joints.
